William M. CLINE was b ca 1817 in Indiana Co, PA (per Civil War enlistment papers. He married Nancy NORMAN in 1838 in Belmont Co, OH. He was a shoemaker who had 13 children, the first 11 were girls(!), served in the Civil War, and d 1891 in Belmont Co, OH.

Much is know of his descendants; nothing of his ancestry. WHO were his parents? Siblings? WHEN did he come to Belmont Co, OH?

His children married people with the following surnames: PARRY, SHIPMAN, ASHTON, WOODS, COCHRAN, DEVAULT, HARPER, VOSS
