William George Smith of Albany Died 15 Sep 1943 at Linwood Retirement Home Perth

I am interested in William George Smith who I believe is my Great Uncle, born in Lawshall, Suffolk, England. He died 15 Sep 1943 aged 70 (I think he was actually born 1875) and was cremated at karrakatta cemetery 16 Sep 1943. Someone planted a pine shrub in 1992 so someone must care for him. At death he was single, but had reserved a plot for 8 people; puzzling.
