I have no record of his birth in Canada or arrival or death in Australia. They had some of their children in Robe SA and the others Casterton VIC. His wife (who arrived single on David McIver ship 1855 in SA) left him eloping in 1873 with James McLean (most of their children were placed in the VIC Industrial school) and when she married James McLean in 9/9/1881 she states she was a widow. I can find no record of William George Watson before his marriage or around 1873 to 1881. He named one of his sons William George Bowden Watson and this must be significant as he has a tatoo George Boden on his arm. I have hit a brick wall. I have a lot of information on the children, the wife and her new husband but nothing on William George Watson. Your expertise will be appreciated.
