I have come to a brickwall on William Haines born 1787 in NJ and died ? in Hardin Co. OH. He is my 4th gr grandfather. He served in the war of 1812 and was discharged in Logan Co. OH. He married Nancy Hatfield and had children Elizabeth,Sarah,Matilda,Jackson,Thomas. He later went to Hardin Co. OH where he remained and died. I can't find out who his parents were. There are a lot of Haines' in Logan, Champaign, and Hardin Co.OH but I can't connect he to any of them. Any idea's? Thanks!
