William Hancock

I am trying to find the parents of William Hancock, born circa 1770-1781. He married Catherine Taylor at Benthall, Shropshire in 1804. He was employed by Caughley china works and Coalport bone china works as a Colourmaker and potter where he reached the rank of Foreman. He had a large family all born in the Madeley area and was my 3 x great grandfather. Does anyone know anything about the family, especially William?
