William & Mary-Ann Curtis Otago information

Question by rochellecoates

Looking for the parents of these two, husband and wife.
I believe the parents are from England and possibly never came to Nz, however their children did. Mary-Ann sometimes goes by Annie or Ann and her maiden name is Richards. Help please I am stuck. FYI don’t need info on the couple just where they come from.
Thanks

you have already stated online that William Curtis (1838-1882) was from Cornwall, England ??

ALSO this is Annie's actual death date
Evening Star, 8 Jan 1872
CURTIS - On the 8th inst., at her residence, Brown-street, Mrs William Curtis, aged 30, a birth date of 1841, presuming she was going to turn 31 during 1872

She is buried with William Henry Curtis who died 9 Feb 1882 aged 52 so that would mean a birth date of 1829, presuming he was going to turn 53 in 1882
Evening Star, 9 Feb 1882
CURTIS - On the 9th inst., at Cargill road, South Dunedin, William Henry Curtis; aged 52 years.

By the way Rochelle, if you want to add the date for their marriage onto the tree, it was 21 Sep 1862

Thank you everyone for your responses, I am having a hard time finding what William Curtis is the right one, there are two both from England, both similar DOB and both travelled to NZ.

Is it possible that Mary-ANN is Mary-Ann Thomas. There is a Mary-Ann Thomas who goes by Mary-Ann Richards - similar details
