William Tunstall

My maternal grandfather was William Tunstall. Born 16th August 1868 in Crosspit Lane, Rainford, County of Lancaster, England to John Tunstall and Margaret Tunstall (nee Owen).

William died in Melbourne on 7th April 1961.

William married Elizabeth Margaret Hall on 1st December 1920. Elizabeth Hall was from New Zealand.

At some stage in his life he changed his name to Westwell-Tunstall (we believe before he came to Australia).

William claimed to have two daughters from a previous marriage - our only names are Mrs. V.A.Kermish, Derby Castle Avenue, Douglas, Isle of Man and Mrs. C.E. Kermode, 11 Victoria Parade, Douglas, Isle of Man.
