My Great-grandmother, Ada Mary SHELDON 1868-1916 was born in Iowa and died in North Dakota. I have information going from her father Minos L. 1, who served in the Civil War; Truman (2) Induction papers for War of 1812; Josiah (3) Rev. War; Caleb (4); Josiah (5); Thomas (6); Isaac (7) who came to this country. I am more than will to share info. with others about them and their spouses.
Your Thomas (6) might also be my ancestor. Was he born Feb 8, 1709 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island?
If so then according to sheldonfamily.org his line goes (following your numbering): Isaac (7), John (8), John (9). It is actually John (9) known as "John Sheldon of South Kingstown" who came to America.
