My grandfather was James Alexander Bruce Woodside, born in 1902, died in 1974. His brother was William Woodside, and a sister Hannah Woodside. Hannah had a husband by the name of Jack Providence, he was a minister of the Anglican faith. The brother William was a Warden at The Don Jail in Toronto.
James Alexander Bruce Woodside was known as Bruce Woodside by his family. He had married in Belfast, Ireland before coming across the pond, but the wife didn't want to go with him and stayed in Ireland. The second wife was married in New York, NY. She died of TB. The third wife was Annie Grace Dewdney, April 17, 1902 - December 26, 1955. She gave him 6 children: John Alexander, David Bruce, Evelyn Grace, Sheila Roberta, Muriel Alberta, and Stanley Bruce. The fourth wife was Eleanor Hargraves, whom recently passed on. Both are buried at Highland Memory Gardens, in North York, Ontario.
Hannah and Jack Providence had no natural born children, but adopted two sisters, one of which turned criminal and Pat Providence.
I know that Uncle Bill had a wife, but I don't know if he had any children.
