our charles was convicted in 1832 in England and transported to australian shores in 1833.
He does not give his parents or dob and age on convict papers was 18.
on his last child he says he was 39 and born in Surrey.
He does give he was a waterman and shoemaker before his arrest but that is all we have to go on as far as his english history is concerned.
