Wostrel Herzinger

The WOSTREL family came to the US via ship and landed in Baltimore as I have been told. They were destined to Iowa where they had friends who also spoke their native Bohemian language. As they arrived in Iowa, Mr. Wostrel was ill with Lung Fever and their friends were afraid that he had Cholera. He was welcomed by some strangers and eventually moved to Cuming County Nebraska.

I would like to find out more about which ship they used to come to the US.

Again: Hello, Regarding finding the ship look up ancestors name under ship passage logs. I found my grandfather and others via ancestry dot com. I was able to see the ship's log of the names and even how much baggage they brought. Sometimes hard to read old hand writing styles. Also name spelling is sometimes incorrect. Female first names are often not noted. Hope this helps! Good luck!
