My grandparents were Ida Alvina Freese,b.13/4/1897,d.1/11/1957,m.21/11/1917,Frederich Wilhelm Kanofski,b.27/7/1888,d.3/3/1964.Ida was also known as Eda Malwine Freese. Her parents wereJohann Freese b.abt.1860,m.Annie Profke. Also looking for, August Freese b.1820,m.Johanna Beate. they had a child August Freese b.1852,d.8/6/1910,m.25/12/1873,Hannah Stone,b.24/10/1854,d.2/3/1932.They had nine children.Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Freese b.26/6/1874,Edward August Freese b.11/2/1878. Elizabeth Catherine Freese b.29/5/1880,d.1938. Amelia Rosina Freese b.10/10/1882,d.1882. Charles Job Freese b.27/11/1884,d.24/10/1954,m.12/6/1912 Rose Anna Copeland b.1887,d.10/9/1942. George Henry Freese b.21/1/1886,d.22/10/1859. Norman Stafford Freese b.6/3/1889,d.1946. Thomas Benjamin Freese b.17/11/1891,d.1964,m.9/2/1915,Elsie Drake b.1893,d.14/10/1934. Hannah Lillian Freese b.10/6/1898. All August and Habah Stone children were born in Qld Australia.My grandmother Ida was a Berlin Girl came to Australia when she was about 12 yrs of age. I don't know if she had any brothers and sisters. Need as much info as I can get to finish the tree. The Kanofski connection is completed.

Hmm I just had a look at the Queensland Historical Indexes online and a search of FREESE births between allowable search fields 1829 to 1914 shows your grandmother was born in Queensland.
