My great grandfather, Arthur Moore, married Mary Doudle in 1886 in Otago NZ.
Mary Doudle was born in 1864 and had a daughter, Daisy Doudle, by another father, prior to this marriage.
Mary's father was Thomas Doudle and mother Mary (Ryan) Doudle.
I think that there was a daughter Jane Doudle who died in May 1871 aged 4 1/2.
I'm seeking any information on the background and forebears, family, migration etc of Doudle and Ryan families from Dunedin, Otago, NZ.

ScotNZ on 2020-04-27 20:27:18Marys mother, Mary Ryan Doudle, died 6 June 1864, Mary was only 16 days old at the time. Daisy was born on 14 July 1885.

If you have a look at Papers Past there is a bit of information about Thomas Doudle. Here's his daughter Jane's death notice.
DEATH.
On the 24th May, at Filleul street, Dunedin Jane, the youngest daughter of Mr Thomas Doudle, aged four and a half years.
Otago Daily Times, Issue 2902, 26 May 1871.

Crawford on 2020-05-01 01:10:28There's a Thomas Doudle buried at Southern Cemetery, Dunedin.He died on 20 Oct 1903 aged 76 years.
Also buried with him is Michael Doudle who died 9 Nov 1911 aged 52.(His son?)
