Just started a search to create my family tree.
Lucy SCHWARTEN May have been born around 1860's Partner?? 3 children Evan Karen and {John James SCHWARTEN born 1886-1970, A Baker served in world war one 1916-1919 Married Hester Mary who i beleive was a fair bit younger then he, had 4 children (Which seems to be a popular number) Noel,Christopher,Daphne and Ronald who is my grandfather married for a short period Laila Moffatt and had Tracy [my mum)I don't no much at all and what i do no may not be 100% accurate.
So this is my start if anyone can add im more then happy to listen

I found a marriage between Lucy GOOD and John Christian SCHWARTEN in 1910 QLD. Could this be her?

There's a death in Qld 1914 for a Lucy SCHWARTEN with parents Evan Thomas and Helena HORTON.

I now have updated info Lucy married John SCHWARTEN in 1910 & she is not a blood line. Johns previous wife Janet Logan died 1855-1887 Born in Scotland so at the age of only 32, They conceived John James one year before her death which is very sad and they may of had another child which i have to look into, I'm not sure if John and Lucy had any children together and i think John SCHWARTEN immigrated from Germany which is another ball game Any ideas where i can look?

John Christian 1845-1913 also had another child with Janet Logan in 1883 Janet Schwarten
John Married Lucy then died in 1913 so Lucy was left to Raise his 2 Children i cant track down Daughter Janet as she would of married and changed her last name
John Christian was born in Denmark which was a suprise as i thought he would of come from germany
Now to try and track his parents i have no names and taking a break to attend to other requirments hehehe

As you can see from my previous post that there are already family trees online with SCHWARTEN names in them. Nine out of 10 times you would be related!

Hi Allycat, I have already thanks as you put there link in earlier Geni is really good much neater then my scrap piece of paper! I checked out the other Schwarten trees and no names match with mine so far ill just keep adding and see where its takes me .Your links Allycat have helped heaps if you have any more don't hesitate to show me the way Cheers.

Lucy was married previously to my great grandfather frederick charles good and they had a son Arthur John Good. If i can assist in anyway please let me know.

Hi Goodayers wow i have not been on few a few months its so exciting to come across you any information would be great did Lucy bring up johns childen john james schwarten and Janet Schwarten after he died? and do you no if John had any siblings my mums thinks he may of had a brother and just anything you no about him would be a great help

Hey Kylie i sent you a private email i hope you recieved it it has my email addy in it .. Lucy brought up the children as her own after john passed ... my mum thought they had their own children aswell and one of grandad half sisters died at 19... there is more so please get in touch

I am not sure where you are at and if in deed you are still researching.
My surname is Schwarten and I am a great granddaughter of Johan (John) Christian Schwarten. Some of the info you have is not as I know it. Johan was married to Elise Marie with whom he migrated from Hamburg Germany in 1871 on the ship Lammershagen. They had three children 2 boys and 1 girl. Elise died in Brisbane in 1927, we are unsure why she left. Janet Logan was Johan's common law wife. They had two children Janet and John James. Janet died in or around childbirth. They are buried in the Nth Rockhampton cemetery. Johan then married Lucy Good a widow with a young son. Johan and Lucy had 2 children Louisa and my grandfather Henry Christian.
