I have files on the Isaac Swain who married Violet Reade and settled in Northern PA, USA in the late 1700s. Their children were probably Isaac; Read; Bethuel; John; Lorena; and Jacob. Jacob and Bethuel went to Preble County, OH USA and, perhaps, John was there also.
I would like to hear from anyone who thinks they descend from these lines and/or have info on Isaac and Violet and where they were married and if you have any record of them in PA.
Bethuel's sons and grandchildren went to MO and IN and most of Jacob's children went to IN USA.

Dear 'bonnyjim', Welcome. Please edit your surnames at the bottom of this journal to replace ";" with ',' so that surnames will become clickable links back to the surname wiki pages.

Then click on SWAIN, HARRIS etc to see journals, researchers, wiki pages etc.

Tip: This site is frequented by members world-wide so please specify country of origin, i.e. United States of America. Not everyone is familiar with abbreviations of cities/States etc. in various countries.

For example, SA could stand for South Australia or South Africa.

And definitely check out rootsweb world connect project to see if research exists on this particular family, then familysearch.org website.
