The Gerhardt's started in Baden, Germany and some settled in Ma. La. and NM.

The Caviness family are from France and settled in several different USA states. They were French Hugenots!

My Valdez family may have come from Spain and settled in NM, as far as I know. I really need help with this, if you can, please e-mail me.

My research for my Gonzales family, if correct, goes back to Portugal and also to NM. I would appreciate help with any or all of these. "God Bless you all" this is a wonderful site! June

I am trying to find info on Nancy A. Reed born in Franklin, IL. in 1828, Daughter of James Reed and Martha Ward. Trying to prove that she is my Great-Great Grandmother. IF this is my GGGrandmother, Nancy Reed, she married Henry Caviness born in NC in 1814 and both died in CO. She died in 1894 and he died in 1887. Sophronia Caviness was my GGrandmother.
This has really been a hard one. I have not been back here in quite some time And have even been with ancestry.com going on 2 years and haven't proved this yet. Please, if you have any hints on this, please let me know. Sincerely, June
