They came circa 1830 with 3 children. Once in Newfoundland, George was born. He was a ships captain, was lost at sea, leaving a wife and two children, Henery Leach and Elizabeth. I asume the childern were put into a orphanage, as Henery was taken to outport NL as a winterboy, as was the custom back then. I am decended from Henry Leach Thomas. I have no Idea what ever happened to his sister Elizabeth Thomas.
