Trying to find where David and Jane (nee Younger) Reid moved to after 1861.

David and Jane were born in Alloa, Clackmannanshire about 1822. They married and came to Australia on "The Wanderer" with their child Isabella Campbell Reid (my ggrandmother). They come with Jane's brothers Alexander, Andrew and John (who drowned on the way) and their sister Margaret landing in Victoria in 1853.

Jane and David had 3 children around Melbourne/Brunswick, two of whom die there.

The families eventually settle in Ballarat where David and Jane's youngest son John is born in 1861. According to oral family history around this time David and Jane leave Isabella with Jane's youngest brother, Alexander Younger in Ballarat to complete her education and took babies Margaret and John and head outback to be drovers. Unfortunately they were never heard from again.

Wondering if anybody has these people in their family as we desperately would love to know whatever happened to them. Isabella went to her grave never knowing what became of her parents. We all wonder if they ended up in New Zealand, America or even Canada thinking they would send for Isabella when they settled, but just never did.

Seeking birth and death records Abraham Morgan of Broadmeadows - Campbellfield, Victoria

Abraham Morgan married Hannah Land in 1840 at St James c of e in West Melbourne. They had 3 children at Pentridge (Coburg)Frederick John MORGAN, Isaac James Fyfe MORGAN and Louisa Jane MORGAN and two children at Campbellfield Edward MORGAN and Thomas MORGAN. No one in the present day seems to know where Abraham came from, and there appears to be no oral history.

Abraham died in 1853. I can't find his death in Victoria or where he is buried. If I had one of these I may find where and when he was born. However I do have a copy of his will, and have found the legal notice on Trove relating to executing the will, where everything is left to Anna Morgan.

Hannah kept on farming in the Broadmeadows area, as she is mentioned in the directories of the time. Hannah died in 1887 at Campbellfield and is buried in the Will Will Rook cemetery. Edward and Thomas are also buried here, both dying in 1891, but there is no mention of Abraham in these records.

Hoping someone out these know what's happened to Abraham.
