Bio

I have been actively researching our family histories since 1986. As both my husband and I were born in England and came to Australia with our respective families as children - all of that research has been long distance. It is much easier now with the help of the Internet and availability of records but the experience of doing it the hard way gave me invaluable knowledge and insight that I can now use to help others understand the ways of the past.
We have recently welcomed our first great-grandchild, a third generation Australian descendant from us and I am thrilled to discover that he also has links to a rich Australian ancestry.
In addition to family history, I love photography, reading and knitting toys.
