Are you looking for theTolliday family in Australia?

Hello there,

I have a large chart of the big family of Tollidays living in Australia.

I also have access to print outs of birth, death and marriage dates including registration numbers.

I have started my family tree right back at the original immigration of widowed Jane Curtis Tolliday and her four children in 1854.

I have branches that lead from the two sons and the one daughter who have children.

I have written many journals here at Family Tree Circles. And from this I have been able to meet up with other Tollidays.

I also have a Tribal Page on the Tollidays in Australia. Here you can see everything that I have, see it growing and building up to be a very worthwhile history.

If you need any information or have something that you think may help me please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Good luck with your research.

Leonard Mudd Harker and Mary Sharp of Australia updated June 2008

Leonard Mudd Harker was born in York.
His father was Simon Harker and his mother was Margaret Mudd.

You will see the name Mudd repeated in many generations linking children to the past.

Leonard and Mary Harker had 8 children.

Margaret Ann Harker who married John William Boyd in 1858.MRN 1557
John Harker who married Margaret Shade
Elizabeth Harker who married Henry Casey
Mary Harker who married Richard Wright
Thomas Harker born 1854 BRN 3744. Died 1862.
Thomas Harker
Simon Harker who married Margaret Beattie
Leonard Hird Harker born 1860 BRN 16864

Families sometimes gave the same name to a new baby after losing a previous one. Hence there are two Thomas boys in this family.
I am not sure what age the first one died. And it looks like the second Thomas didn't marry or have any children.

Leonard Mudd Harker died aged 58 in 1865. DRN 6070.

Simon Harker and Margaret Beattie were the parents of Hilda Elizabeth Harker who married Tim Corboy. These are my husband's grandparents.
We live in Victoria, Australia.

More dates and details to follow.
