I'd like to find out if Sam's parents died in Levin New Zealand and where they originally sailed from. Sam was born in 1875 but not sure where. Maybe New Zealand or maybe Britain. He died in Brisbane in 1959. He had 3 children; Frank, Fred and Molly. Frank was my Father's (Graham) Father. Frank died in Surfers Paradise around 1981. Sam fought in the Boer War and probably enlisted in Melbourne. He is on the 1911 electoral roll in New Zealand and from then on in Queensland.
