I am looking for the birth parents of Ellen COCKBURN. She was born Ellen MCKEARNEY in 1889 and adopted by Mrs Christina COCKBURN in 1893 and lived in Marton New Zealand. Any help would be much appreciated.

Came to New Zealand with sister Mary and then dissappeared. Didn't take up land option entitled to in South Auckland.

Ellen McKearney was adopted by Christina Cockburn in 1893. An trying to find her birth parents. Not sure if McKearney was father or mothers name.She was born in Wellington in 1889 and lived with Cockburns in Marton New Zealand.
