I have traced my Kelly ancestors back to Dualla, Tipperary where six children of Cornelius Kelly (my great-great-great grandfather) and his wife Mary, nee Mulloughney, were born/baptised from 1834 until 1846. A Cornelius Kelly was a tithe defaulter in 1831. Then leasing house, land and office at Fussough from Matthew Penefather in 1850. Mentioned as "the late Cornelius Kelly" in 1851 on the sale of land of M Penefather. His daughter, my great-great grandmother, Margaret Alice (known as Alice) Kelly migrated to Australia sometime in the early 1850s. Three of her younger brothers, John, Thomas and William, followed in 1858. Another brother, Michael went to Kimberley, South Africa. I have found a lot of information on their lives but there was one brother Edmund/Edmond who I have found nothing on. I don't know if he stayed in Ireland or not.

I know nothing about Mary Kelly, nee Mulloughny (various spellings) other than she married Cornelius Kelly at Dualla in 1834 and had the above listed children.
