Trying to find where Ellen Williams was born her marriage and death certificates Gilgandra NSW. A court case in Dubbo NSW, Newspaper for Wednesday 15th April 1896, when a William Wiseman was charged with molesting ellen Williams aged 5 years old says that her guardian/adopted parents names were William and Elizabeth Brandt from Forest Lodge Gilgandra. William was german and Elizabeth maiden name Blake was Irish. They raised my grandmother and I have confirmed these details. The interesting comment by the judge was that he said that Ellen was an intelligent little girl and he decided that she could be sworn but my grandmother refused to kiss the bible. (Why was it because she came from a different culture or background) I have never been able to find a birth certificate for Ellen Williams and having searched for 10 years.I would love someone to make suggestion to me as I have hit the brick wall.

My grandmother married Michael John Walsh Randwick NSW in 1914. My mother was born in 1917, unfortunately my grandmother passed away in 1919 aged 24. So my mother never knew her own mum.

I am looking for JAMES NOEL CLAIR OR CLAIRE BORN ABOUT 1865 IN CORNWALL ENGLAND. JAMES ON HIS DAUGHTER'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE IN 1894 STAES THAT HE WAS BORN IN CORNWALL AND IN 1894 HE WOULD HAVE BEEN AGE 29. HIS OCCUPATION WAS ACCORDING TO THE CERTIFICATE WAS ENGINEER.
JAMES'S DAUGHTER WAS NAMED HOLLY GEMMELL CIAR AND THE MOTHERS NAME WAS FLORENCE CATHERINE VARDY. FLORENCE WAS BORN IN NSW AUSTRALIA IN 1869. I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING TO NO AVAIL FOR JAMES FOR MANY YEARS. WOULD WELCOME ANY HELP.
