I am researching the family of my Great Grandmother Mary Anne Ellis. She was descended from a family of miners who came from the Rothwell area in West Yorkshire. She was born in 1881 and married John Albert Marshall in 1909. Her parents were Joseph Ellis b1856 and Sarah Riley. Joseph Ellis's parents were James Ellis b1828 and Mary Adamson.
