Edward Bawden & Mary Walters

I have an Edward Bawden bapt 1751(my 4x great grandfather) married to Mary Walters, I know these are my ancestors. Working backwards I get confused as I thought Edward's parents were Edward Bawden and Jane Harvey and they had 4 children Catherine bapt 1750, Edward bapt 1751, Jane bapt 1752 and Cordelia bapt 1755. Through the research I found these people in a lot of other peoples research but some have 3 children and some have 4, then some of the bapt dates are different. Also they have different parents for Edward bapt 1751. I thought maybe his parents were Edward Bawden and Cordelia Davyes as there being a child named Cordelia. Maybe there are people on here who could possibly help clear these records for me.

THOMAS BAWDEN BORN 1836 IN BREAGE

I have a Thomas Bawden b1836 and bapt in Breage. His parents were John Bawden and Elizabeth Williams. He is living with his parents in the 1841 census at Perran Downs, Perranuthnoe. I cannot find him in the census past 1841. I think he may have died between those years but I'm having a problem finding a death for him. There are a few Thomas's in the census but I really don't think any of them are him.

Finding my first ancestor from overseas

I started about 10 years ago researching my family. Usually there is excitement when you find a new lead or find a person you have been looking for a long time. My exciting moment was when I found my ggrandfather, John Bawden, in the immigration records. John had been a miner in Cornwall and when the mines started to die out he came to Australia to work for Peak Downs Mine in north Queensland. I found him only after a short while researching but early this year I found some more info about him. I found some newspaper clippings about him. One was when he retired from the NSW Railways and the article told all what he did after arriving here and some of it I did not know. Then I found his death notice so I had come full circle with him, what great joy to understand what this relative had been through in his life.

Bawden death record brickwall

My brickwall is my gggrandfather William Bawden's death record. The family was living in Menheniot, Cornwall, Eng, as William worked as a miner there, it is natural to think he died there. In a family bible it says he died on 17 Mar 1858 but we can find no record for him.
