"Looking for T.C. Lay of Arkansas,USA"

I am searching for information on my paternal
grandfater's father. My grandfather was Woodrow Wilson
Lay.He as Born in 1915 in Oklahoma. He passed away in 1995
due to complications of an anurism. He was the son of T.C.
Lay and Bertie Cleveland Lay. They also had a daughter
Veria Lay who was born Oct.11,1909 and died June 25,1910.
Veria is layed to rest at Miners Cemetery in Haskell
County,Oklahoma. Marriage records for Choctaw Nation
Indian Territory states that T.C. Lay age 21 and Bertie
Clara Cleveland age 18 married March 10,1907.They both
lived in the community of Bokoshe,Oklahoma at the time of
marriage. Bertie's parents were Bud Cleveland and Mary
Francis Stewart. T.C. Lay's parents are unknown. Both
parents were born in Tennesse.

T.C. Lay was born about 1866 in Arkansas. He
died sometime in 1915 or 1916. Supposedly of Tuberculosis.
My grandfather Woody told me when I asked him about his
father that he was barely walking when his father died.
But he would always remember his dad comming in from the
fields no matter how tired and dirty he was and he would
sit in the floor and play with him and fall asleep with
him in his arms. That no matter what he always had time
for him.He said he was just starting to walk good about
the time his father died. That he came in from the fields
and he played with him for awile and he went to sleep
in his dads arms as usual but his dad didn't wake up when
he tried to wake him. They lived in Red Oak,Oklahoma at
this time.He is supposed to be buried near Poteau,Oklahoma
by a church somewhere.Bertie moved on to marry Zeb Bonham
when Woodrow was around the age of 10 to 12 years old.

T.C. Lay is possibly also called Terriet,Turl,or
Terriel.I'm not sure what the C. is for. I can only find
a 1910 census for Cowlingtown area for Terriet,Bertie,
Veria, and Mary F. Melton (Mother-in-law).I can not find
any record of T.C.Lay before or after this time other than
the marriage record for the Oklahoma Indian Territories.
All my fathers family will tell me is their grandfathers'
name was Turl and to leave it alone and stop digging!
So if any one can help me with any more information
it would be greatly appreciated."BECAUSE I'M ONLY TRYING
TO FIND OUT WHO HE IS!" Who his parents are?
