Holt name is from the beginning starting with Mary Holt born in the early 1800's she married Virgual Smith in the family she was from Jefferson County, Miss. Calvins were from Virginia then migrated to Miss, i have chatted with the caucasion side of this family i am at a brickwall here? I cannot find my ggrandmother who was a Cathrine/Katherine Calvin's mother I have been looking endlessly Katherine's father which was a John Calvin born in 1844 lived with the family once she married i cannot find her mom. Emersons were from Miss. lots of my family still reside there found lots of information on them this is my mothers side of the family, I know i am truly blessed to still have my mother she was the baby and she is 76!! Shes had some interesting stories i know her eldest sister had lots of stories but i didnt start my geaneology until about 9 months ago i have since went to Miss. for a week me and one of my cousins and it was very invigorating i found a few documents!!!McClenton side of the family im having a time with which is my fathers side he was something else i believe he was married 7 or 8 times that is his burden. I have found 7 sisters and brothers total and im sure its more out there we have been emailing one another sending pics it has been beautiful we are planning a reunion soon!!!I also have a beautiful picure i know its over 100 years old i plan on posting soon with my great grandmother and her children anyone with any information they can add on my families will be appreciated and if someone can help me i will help them all i can good luck everyone and happy hunting!!!
