Hello, My Name is Jean L. Tucker Bankston, I was surfing on the net late one night and had a thought I?d try to find some information on my Mother?s family; she never talked much about them. (Etzel, Heim, Lambrecht).
After my Aunt Jean died, I thought I would never know. A few years ago I had asked my cousin Bev a few questions and she said her daughter had done a family tree. So I thought I?d look to see what was out there.
And low and behold, I found at least three trees? made by members. So I had to join in the madness! And now I?m hooked. At this point I?m up dating what I found, filling in the blanks that I can and asking my family with what I don?t.
This really made me want to look up my Dad?s family?was I in for a big shock, and surprised to learn what all I or my family doesn?t know. I?m starting cold on that case. All I have at this point is my Dad?s parent?s names. When I looked up the surname Tucker, My lord, I didn?t relies their were so many in the world. There is actually a Tucker Family Genealogy Forum and Tucker Family Association. I have my hands full just finding out the basics. I hope to find an Aunt Marilyn A. Tucker Collins to ask her some questions, but our families lost touch years ago. I?ll keep looking!
