Land in Bulla (on Sunbury road between number 400 and 500) was purchased by John Lawlor around 1878 and upon his death in 1926 john Lawlor Jnr. (john James Lawlor) was named as the executor of his fathers will.The current land title acknowledges this.

The surrounding land has undergone changes in ownership and uses; the landfill currently occupies the land next door after the Boral quarry closed. I am aware of a few adverse possession claims in the Bulla area around the creek area over the years. Do you have any further information on the Lawlor family from the period between 1926 and 1968 (this is when John Lawlor Jnr. passed) to help ascertain the ownership of this land?

I have been unable to access the Shire of Bulla rate books - Hume City Council are very protective of any information they have, and very bad at keeping records on other worthy information. I have been to PROV and there is no information that has been passed onto to them from the Shire of Bulla days. Please advise.
