Iam researching my great grandfather Peter Seton Hay, who was well known as engineer of the colony and died in 1907. I have some info on him but only one photo. I have tried to find photos of himat a younger age possibly from Otago University( he was the first to be granted M>A in 1879 but to no avail. I am wondering if someone might have better searcg skills than me which wouldn't be very hard. His sons were well known too- my grandfather John Seton . Peter Seton hay had a brother who was a very well known amateur photographer from Dunedin as well as being a surveyor- John Dalziel Hay, who married Clara Novello Firth.

I am researching family of my husband's grandmother hannah Cronin who married james Fitzgerald in 1918. They lived in tallow in Waterford and had 14 children.
I am trying to find the names of her parents and whether she had any siblings.

James Fitzgerald born 1885 in Cappoquin ireland. Regimental # 4559. Irish Special regiment. Was enlisted in 1908. How do I find out more of his military history. I know he was a sergeant Instructor and also was in the Military Police based in Fermoy.
