Hello, I'm looking for the parents, grandparents etc. for William KENNEDY b/1826 Hardin County Ky.(My g-grandfather) He was married to Hannah(MILLER)PEARMAN, May 1850. ( My g-grandmother) I believe he was married previously to Ann Eliza COFFMAN. I have not proven the identity of this first wife. He did bring one child to his second marriage, Sarah Ellen KENNEDY 2yrs old. Hannah PEARMAN,was married previously to William PEARMAN, they had one daughter, Rebecca PEARMAN b/ 1846 . William KENNEDY and Hannah PEARMAN had children, MARTHA ANN, b/ abt.1851, MARY BELL b/ abt 1855, JAMES SAMUEL b/ abt 1858, JOHN JACKSON b/ abt 1862 , The family left Larue county Ky. in the 1860's My grandfather WILLIS HOPWOOD was b/ 1867 in Linn county Missouri. Both William and Hannah passed away in 1877. Rebecca married Henry C. WILLIAMSON ,KY., Sarah married J.H. OWEN, Mo. Martha married James THARPE, Ks., Sam married 1st (unk) 2nd Mary E.(CARSON) KENNEDY ,Mo., John married Mary Katie VAN HORN, MO., Willis married Mary E. CARSON. Mo., The marriage record for William KENNEDY and Ann COFFMAN states that his father is Samuel KENNEDY and her father Harman COFFMAN. I have not been able to find William as the son of a Samuel KENNEDY in Hardin Ky.
