Edward DODD was my great grandfather. Born in Ayrshire Scotland in 1838. He married my great grandmother Janet Wilson in 1873 and had 5 boys and 2 girls -- Henry, Thomas, James, Margaret (my grandmother), William, Mary, and Edward J. I know they had a farm in Crystal Township until they moved to Traer Iowa. Great Grandma Janet died in 1909 and the next information I have is that Great Grandpa Edward died in St. Joseph Missouri in 1916. Don't know if any of the Dodd family is still around. Would like to know more about him. Unfortunately my mother and grandmother are both deceased. If I have members of that family still around, I would love to be able to contact them. He was a very distinguished looking individual and I have a family picture with everyone in it.
