- Alfred died 5 May 1976 aged 88

Charles Oliver Knewstubb (1892-1970)
- son of John Knewstubb & Emma Frances BARTON
- served in WWI as Bombardier 2/1176 with the Otago Field Artillery, 4th Reinforcements. His next of kin was J. Knewstubb of Carey's Bay. He was wounded in 1915. He returned into Wellington on the 'Athenic' in June 1916
- he married Wilhelmina Jessie ISBISTER in 1918
- a daughter of Irvine Clark ISBISTER & Mary Ann DENSEN
- they lived in Harbour Terrace, Careys Bay, Dunedin
- Charles died 24 June 1970 aged 77
- his ashes were buried BLOCK 1A, PLOT 4 at Port Chalmers Cemetery
- Wilhemina died 8 Feb 1972 aged 80 at Careys Bay
- her ashes were returned
Edward Knewstubb (1859-12 Feb 1931)
- 2nd son of Thomas & Sarah Sophia Knewstubb
- Edward was a yacht builder and he also built steam craft. He and his brother built the Steamer "Tarewai" at Port Chalmers
- married Christina Matheson DOVE (1862-13 Feb 1931) in 1884
- the lived in Port Chalmers, Dunedin
Edwin & Christina died in a collison wth a train when they were driving to Christchurch with their daughter Runa Turner and her 2 children. Their car stalled on the railway line at the Maheno railway crossing at 8.45am 12 February 1931.
Edward died in Oamaru hopital an hour later.
Christina died the following day. The 2 children were unhurt

- Percy served n WWI as Corporal 2/897 with the Otago Field Artillery, 2nd Reinforcements. His next of kin was his father Edward Knewstubb, Dockmaster of Port Chalmers
