wHe would have been my ggg grandfather...his son Clark S. Hitchcock dob 1831 in NY married Thursey A. White dob 1834 in PA. Clark & Thursey had 3 children:

* Leona married Thomas A. Gage and their son Frank L. Gage was my grandfather
they are buried in Sterling Johnson County NE. My mother Virginia D. was the oldest dghtr of Frank L and Lola (Ferrier) Gage. Virginia was born in Lincoln Lancaster County NE in 1913 and died in 1989 in Geneva Fillmore County NE. My name is Pamela Schroeder and I was born in Lincoln Lancaster County NE in 1944, my father is unknown.

Would appreciate any info on the Hitchcock's from Leona back.

CHRISTOPHER WEDEKING was my hsb's 3rd great grandfather. Christopher was born in 1826 and died in 1911. He is buried in the Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery south of Ohiowa Fillmore County Nebraska.

Would like to know when they came from Germany and if they lived in Illinois prior to coming to Fillmore County Nebraska. Would like to know the names of parents and siblings and what they did. I believe it was farming.
