My grandpa Milan listed on his SS# application that his father's name was Milos Gorcevich and his mother's was Gisella Gavaler.
It states that he was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1898. He signed his name as Milan Gorc'ev Gorc'evich.
He immigrated to USA in 1927, arriving in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
My grandpa Milan married Gizella Miller (Molnar)in Cleveland, Ohio in abt. 1934. They had 6 children. Three of those are dead. The others don't know much because they were younger and Milan died in 1971 and Gizella died in 1972.
I don't know much else.
Oh! My grandpa Milan Gorcev had a stage name Milan Pancevac and he recorded music for Victor RCA in the late 20's and into the 30's (78's). He played the accordian and violin. One song was a servian military song?
