I am interested in contacting anybody connected to the Guises from Worcestershire, England. My family can be traced back to John Guise and Elizabeth Careless, married 1702 in Fladbury, Wocester. It may go back to Thomas, son of Hercules, born 1605, but these two have not been prooven. My connection is through Hudson, son of John and Sarah Guise married 1840 in Worcester. Hudson migrated to New Zealand with his brother Henry in 1863. It seems certain this branch was connected to the Guises of Elmore in Gloucestershire who came to England with the Conqueror in 1066. Would be interested in contacting anyone with further information on this family.Other names conneted with the family are Hiron and Farmer, who migrated to Australia and settled in the Rockhampton area of Queensland, Australia.
