Still looking for Parents of Noah Webster Moody, b.7-16-1888 Wilmer,AL. Noah Webster belongs to the Robert Whitfield Family, in MS. One of Robert Whitfield's children, Charles could be Noah's Father, but cannot seem to find anything out about, Charles. Know that he was born, in MS b.1866. May be I will find out, the missing link, to my Family.

I have been doing my Family History, consisting of Surnames: Blessing,Bolton,Moody,Harper,Lincoln,Kaiser. I do have alot of my Mother Shirley Jean Harper's side of the Family "BOLTON"S",and MOODY'S, Mother's side. Father: Field Layfatte Harper, is another story. I have just found out that he was in the Navy, like I figured out, due to my Grandmother Lucile Helen Moody Harper, marrying all Navy men (4) to be exact. Mr. Harper, was a 2ND CL SEAMAN USN, in the 1930's. My Mother, who was born in Gulfport,MS. 1-30-1929, was not even 6 yrs. old, when he died 01-17-1935. I am hoping that someone, will be able to help me, find out where he and his Family, came from,who they were!! ETC. I am finding out a little every day. Just a puzzle! I love puzzles!!! I'm also, looking for a Kaiser/Lincoln connection, on my Father's side of the (Blessing Family, Walker, Lincoln).

My name is Stephanie. I am looking for my Great Grandmother,Helen J.or I "Bolton" maiden, Married last name Moody. Nicknamed "Mama Moody" who was born in AL. in 1888. She had 4 Daughters. The eldest, Lucile Helen, born in Wilmer,AL. in 1910, and died in Kirkland,Wash. in 1995. Death Certificate, says Mothers name was Helen Irene Bolton. Do not know which middle name is right. Husband of Helen, Noah Webster Moody, as well, as Father of Lucile, was born in Wilmer,AL. They also had Mabel, Evelyn, and Nell. My Great Aunt Mabel Rackel was living in Metaire,LA. until Hurricane Katrina hit this past summer. Do not know where she is. She does have a Daughter my age, 56-57? Noah had 2 Families(1) in Fl. and (1) in AL. Worked for the railroad. Went from Al. to FL. & back, in the 1900's. My Grandmother Lucile, had 1 child, Shirley Jean Harper, who had me, and 2 boys Christian Field, and Frederick John Blessing. I am hoping someone can help my with my search.
