I have an August Warner b. 6 January 1848 in Germany. Not sure how he got to America but he died on 4 Jan. 1926 in Center Grove, Story, Iowa. He gave the following information regarding his parents and siblings to his son Howard Emil:

1. Father = Nicolas Werner/Verner
2. Wilhelmina Doescher
3. William - brother
4. Minnie = sister
5. Mellie = sister

Supposedly, his father was from Hanover and his mother was from Hamburg.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for more information on Leonard Gravolin and Sophia Mobbs family. I only have one child listed for them, William Joseph (or Joseph William) b. 1875 in , Victoria, Australia. Leonard died Feb. 1939 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Sophia (Mobbs) was born in 1854 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia and died in 1923 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia.

Would like to have more information on this family and possibly back farther on Leonard's parents, etc...

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have a John MacKenzie - b. abt. 1813 (Rosshire ?) Scotland and died abt 6 Sep. 1891 in Sydney River, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Married a Mary (maybe Gelanders) on 19 Aug. 1847 in Sherbrooke, Guysborough, Nova Scotia. Mary died on 18 December 1871 in Sydney River,, Nova Scotia. Have listed the following for their children:

1. Donald (b. 1850)
2. James (b. 1853)
3. Murdoch (b. 1856)
4. Annie (b. ????)
5. Jessie (b. 1858 - female)
6. Katherine (Kate) (b. 1861)

Not sure if there are more children or not...need more information on the children also. Most of the children were born in Sydney River, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada area. Donald died in 1928 in San Mateo county, California and brother James died in 1913. Don't know much more about the children. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
