As near as I can figure out my family came down from canada around 1800. they have butchered our name several times from st. onge to santer. to santa to santor. I have been able to trace back to jaques payant dit st. onge who's son was joesph payant dit st. onge.I'm still looking in Quebec records for more info.

I know they came from St. hyacinthe quebec province canada. I tried to trace back furter but came upon St. Aunge not sure if this is same family. Our name has gone thru many name changes.our family name is now santor
