My husband, Alfredo Zuniga, is 1 of 8 children born to ALBERTO ZUNIGA born April 8, 1937 (04/08/1937) and deceased December 9, 1998 (12/09/1998) and JULIA MUNOZ ZUNIGA born in Shiner, Texas, and deceased November 2004 (11/2004). Both parents resided in Austin, Texas until their deaths. His father was from MATAMOROS MEXICO and he still has family living there.
We would love any information about relatives or geneological searches regarding this line of MUNOZ-ZUNIGA family.

I am trying to locate relatives or information of the Black/African-American JARVIS line. Until I began the search for CARVIN TYRONE JARVIS, I had no idea how truly common the name is. I am searching for the ancestry, geneology, descendants, and relatives of the JARVIS family which I believe are or were located in the Virginias. The family line is of Black/African-American heritage so may not be as common throughout the U.S. as most of the Jarvises I have corresponded with have been White. Please let me know if anyone has any info on this family line.

The search is not limited to the Virginias of course. Any location of any member of the JARVIS family tree will be greatly appreciated.

I have spent some fairly extensive time and money searching for Carvin Tyrone Jarvis. I believe he still resides in Colorado as he has for the past 30+ years. He is ex-military, possibly worked at NORAD, and I think is in his early 50's.

My mother, VICKI D HEPPER, was residing in Colorado Springs, CO in 1974 while attending college/business school in order to become a Paralegal/Legal Secretary. My aunt, uncle, and some family friends all hung out together as the men were all in the military together. This was a relatively small group made up mainly of Black males and White females. Many, if not all, of the couples had mixed/bi-racial children who would be about 30 years old or so.

I believe I am related to Carvin "Jake" Jarvis. My mother passed away in April 2003, two weeks after my youngest daughter was born after an extensive battle against lung cancer. I am interested in getting in contact with ANYONE who is related to, has knowledge of, or might be able to assist with the search for Carvin "Jake" Jarvis.

I have two daughters, ages 6 years old and 2 years old, and would really like to share some of their family history and geneology with them. While I realize I may never locate him, I have enjoyed the search and speaking to and communicating with the many helpful people on this quest. I realize that life if the journey, not the destination, and this journey called life has been fascinating.
