I have the death cert for my great grandfather Frederick William Garard who died in Hamilton New Zealand in 1937. He was listed as 75 years of age but no DOB details except his father Frederick Garard (Army Tailor) and Emma Willard his mother.
Frederick William was born in London, England c. 1862.

Frederick William Garard arrived in Auckland New Zealand by ship with his aunt about 1875 from the UK. Estimated age on arrival in New Zealand is 13 years of age. Then he settled in Garrett Street Wellington, New Zealand.

He was employed as an Expressman (Train driver) in Wellington and married Mary Ann Paul in 1886 in Wellington NZ.
They had the following children:

Frederick William and Mary Ann divorced c. 1906 in Wellington

Frederick William shifted to Masterton NZ then to Kihikihi NZ and married Mary McGaughey. He worked as a Painter and Decorator in KihiKihi NZ and they had one daughter. They later shifted to Hautapu NZ and in 1937 he died in the Waikato hospital in Hamilton NZ. He is buried in an unmarked grave in the Hamilton East cemetery. I have the grave details.

He is survived by grand children, great grandchildren and great great grand children.

Mary Ann shifted to New Plymouth NZ and married a Mr Archibald and had two daughters to him.
