William was born in 1864 in either Luxemberg, Germany or Luxembourg. He married Susan Basting and they had Charles Arndt in 1891, they immigrated over to the USA in 1891 or 1892 and had another son Peter in Pennsylvania in 1896. I can't find any more information on William after that.
William is not to be confused with Susan's 2nd husband William Thill, whom she married in 1899 in Mineral Point WI.
