My Uncle Bill Ayres actively researched the Rapelje family, taking them back to 1576 before he died in 2001...he shared the information he collected with others researching the same surname and made many friends along the way.

I never received a copy of his findings, and no body seems to know where he kept the information. I'm hoping someone that Bill helped, will help me in my quest, so that I can continue my family's tree where he left off instead of starting from scratch.

I know even less about Anna, just recently finding out her maiden name was GOHM she was born 15 Nov 1878, in Monitor Township, MI
and died 24 Jan 1947, in Bay City, MI
her brother was Henry GOHM, born in Monitor Twnshp, MI
she had 2 sisters...Mrs. Lynch, who resided in TX
and Mrs. Sharon, who resided in MI
her parent(s) were from Switzerland
