Looking for a couple of Scots expats named Welch, who went to Canada

I am researching my late wife's family, name of Welch. I have most of the ones who remained in Scotland tied down, but am having problems with a couple who went to Canada.

1. John Welch, generally known as Jack, was born in Maryhill, Glasgow, on 13 November, 1904. He, with his parents, went to Canada in 1906 and the family settled in Port Arthur, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Jack's parents subsequently retired back to Scotland, where they died, Jack remained in Canada, living in Horneypayne in Thunder Bay.

He subsequently retired to Florida - my sister-in-law thinks to St Petersburg, where he died in his eighties. I would love to know his date of death and final resting place.

2. John (Jack) Welch's aunt, Jessie Napier Welch, left Scotland, aged 42, as a passenger on board the Athenia, on 12 July, 1913 - arriving in Quebec on 20 July. She stated on her immigration form she was travelling on to Port Arthur, to join her nephew John, his wife Agnes and their family - after that she has apparently vanished. I have been unable to find her name on any public record.

Any help on these two would be appreciated.
