James & Elizabeth Coombe married in 1816 in Altarnun. Left for Australia on the "Princess Royal" in 1846 from Plymouth and arrived at Port Adelaide in 1847.

James was a Tin Streamer & Elizabeth was a servant according to the 1841 census.

They also had sons James B:1828 who was away at the this time and Daniel B:1844 and daughters Harriet B:1817and Margeretta B: 1834 whowere either away at this time or Harriet may have been married, not sure.

James2 was my gggrandfather married Jane Ann Stevens also from Cornwall, Penzance we think and was married in 1848 at Holly Trinity Church in Adelaide.
They had 5 children but only one survived; John, who was my ggrandfather who was born in Kapunda, South Australia.
In 1861 they came over to Victoria and in 1862 James was killed in a mining accident, hit by falling stone and covered to the neck in earth, at the Ajax Mine.
He is now buried at the Campbells Creek Cemetery near Castlemaine.

I would like to know if we have any distant relatives out there that can shed some light on their life in Cornwall.
What was Elizabeth's maiden name, who were the parents of Elizabeth & James? Where did they work, live or go to church?

So many questions and with only two elderly relatives now in their 70's & 80's and still i don't have many answers for them.

Also I am looking for information on Thomas Connolly B: 1836c, lived in Market Hill, Armagh, Ireland. Was stationed in India with the Armed Forces. Married in India to Matilda Payne in 1861. Left from Bombay and arrived in Melbourne, Aust in 1874 with his wife, 3 children and 1 infant.

Also looking for info on William Francis Salvadore Sinnet who very little is known he was last sighted at his fathers funeral in 1929 but nothing since and we can't find a death cert: either.
