From 1841 and 1851 census JAMES & MARY Jones and young family resided at 57 Eyehorne Street, Hollingbourne, Kent. Two of their sons THOMAS HENRY and CHARLES Jones, emmigrated to NZ on 'Atrato' in 1874,to Chch
THOMAS HENRY was born 1840 and CHARLES 1844, Mary was a Bennett.
Any info on James and Mary's borebears appreciated. James was born Canterbury, Kent in 1804 and father probably THOMAS Jones.

In 1871 UK census in Kent I found Charles, wife Louisa (Easterby) and child Jane. Unable to find Thomas Henry Jones, wife Sarah (Sales) and 4 children in this same census. Any assistance appreciated.

Have found Thomas Henry and family on 1881 electoral roll Sumner,Chch
They were in Sydney for birth of their last child in 1884. As Thomas H
is my g.grandfather, I'm researching family's NZ activities 1874-83/4.
Particularly, I'm trying to find NZ to Aust shipping passenger list and any NZ land records. Any assistance appreciated.

Charles Jones remained in NZ and he and wife Louisa died in Masterton
I have found a record of one son born N.Z., James Robert Jones b.1880.
I have found no record of Kent born daughter Jane after 1874 arrival.
I will reasearch James Robert JONES birth, marriage and any family & Kent born Jane in NZ. Likewise any assistance much appreciated.

I'm Australian but work bought me to NZ many years ago. Await help :)
