Please can some one help me with what happened to Frederick. He was married to Louisa May Davenport (nee Irons) who died in 1951. I understand that Frederick travelled to New York, I guess this would be after his wife's death. I can't not find any any death record in UK for Frederick, so I guess he dies in New York.

Related Surnames:
IRVING

Do you know what Frederick's parents names were. This might help to locate his death.

Janilye - There is one match for year 1913. I don't know how I can match this record to my Frederick.

Noggin - Frederick's parents are William McDonald (1869) and Georgina Gleadell (1869).

Frederick birth was registered in Chorlton March Quarter 1913.

How can I find any travel to America?

Thanks
Steve

ah this is the brother of Jessie Irving you are looking at! sorry I didn't make the connection before.
I'll have a look later on this morning Steve.

Quickly I found a Fred Irving b:1913 who sailed from Liverpool, England on the 'Eastern Prince' on the 5th August 1940 (alone) he gave his occupation as Engineer and his home address as 918 Stockport Rd., Manchester. Now if he was back in Manchester when his wife died, and you say he made this voyage after her death, it would seem he had some sort of connection with the U.S. and commuted more than once.

Sorry Steve that voyage above was from New York to Liverpool. I need to go to bed 03:16 I'll have a look again later.

Wow this is all good News for me. My mother said she didn't that Fred emigrated, however, I was told by another closer relation (decendant of Fred) that he did.

O will piece the information together to make sense of the events in his life,

Many thanks for you help. I will have to start finding out about sailings to and from UK, as U believe that I have other relations who have emigrated. Something for another day.

Regards

Steve
