Hi Tiko, Stephen was the 8th of 12 children of David Earl Lindsay (1824-1892) & Elizabeth Brown. The link is a journal I wrote in 2012.You will probably know all this but your readers may not. It could help in the search to know that he went by the alias of James Wilson.

Stephens father was a David Earl but between USA and NZ he changed his name to David Earl Lindsay---- his mothers name . They went to USA and we found them there. In Porter--- DEL parents went there as well
