Looking for Information About My Grandparents William Henry Burns and Jane Shaw

My father GORDON HENRY BURNS was born in Edenhope Victoria. I'm interested to know of newspapers in the 1800s from the Edenhope, Harrow district, or any other source of information of the life of those times.I know many old newspapers have been "digitalized" but have no idea what they were called.

Hi

Trove is a site with digital newspapers and a whole lot more that would be helpful to you.

I'm in England so that is the only one I know, but hope it helps with your research.

Thanks, Shelley. I had heard of it & will have another try. Still hoping folk from this western victoria area can help with names of such publications or other sources.

Edenhope newspapers
The Horsham Times is probably the closest you'll get at this stage.

Hi janilye
Thank you again. You see you already helped me on 2013-01-07 with excerpts from Horsham Times. Somehow I've had a break. Will endeavour to navigate Trove again!
Reading again Jane SHAW was born 1860 in Hotspur Vic.parents William SHAW and Mary Jordan who both died in Harrow. I would also like to find out more about the Jane's parents and siblings.Am curious if any pioneer museum/collection exists in this western victorian area.Any chance of the od photo or letter would be a miracle, but here's hoping.

I'll just link that older journal to this, so others' will know how far you've travelled.
